These stories, although fictional are based on real life problems such as farmer suicides and it’s consequences that are not visible to the open world.

Kota Neelima, now a successful author, has given multiple interviews throughout her career as an author. In an interview with the Outlook magazine, she was questioned about seeing any positive changes in the condition of farmers, to which she replied by talking about how there have been a few administrative changes but instead of Money-lending turning a bit humane, it has become even worse with money lenders refusing to lend any money to farmers.

In another famous interview with the Open Road Review, she talks about how as a journalist, she has been trained to explore an issue and locate it in a larger picture to find out about the root of the problem. She says,“This remains the basis of my books in which there is limited deviation from reality, even though the works are fiction.”

With such Interviews, she aims to achieve what she has been seeking for many years now, raising awareness. “Live in the universe within, where there are no strangers, write in the world without and bring them to life.” Says Neelima to all the budding authors.
